How it revolutionized my life:

  • This was the computer I grew up on.
  • It was used, almost exclusively, for my book reports and Oregon Trail.
  • Then Carmen Sandiego came out.  Need I say more?

Its effect on the computer market:

  • The graphical user interface, along with mouse, had permanently changed the game for computers, and how people could interact with them.
  • Anyone could figure out how to use a computer.  Even a 7-year-old.  Technology for everyone!
